This weekend is the Haysville Fall Festival and they're doing it wrong. They moved the rides over to the parking lot of the public pool, then dug up all the grass where the rides were supposed to go and made it the scene of an antique tractor pull. Why did they do this? Why do I care? I'm really not sure, on both counts.

Speaking of counting (yeah, I could be a newscaster with these segues), guess where I'll be in 166 hours? AT THE AIRPORT, PEOPLE! I get my boyfriend back! (For six days only but shhhhh we're not thinking about that right now.) And on Sunday we'll go to the pumpkin patch and carve jack-o-lanterns, and on Monday we'll go to the salt mines, and on Thursday we'll go to the Most Excellent Surprise in Oklahoma (for real). And and and and and we'll watch some movies and maybe eat some fried ice cream and I don't know what else really but that's a pretty good start, right?

Two weeks to NaNoWriMo. Who's with me? Somebody? Anybody? Please?
